1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, booking, or purchasing any service from LectureThis—including consultations, coaching, strategy sessions, templates, memberships, or digital resources—you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services Provided
LectureThis provides consulting, coaching, and course development services to faculty, administrators, and educators across higher education, K–12, corporate, and nonprofit sectors. Services include strategy calls, course design, faculty training, and instructional resources.
Templates are not sold directly but may be included in consulting deliverables or membership benefits.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Provide accurate, complete information relevant to the service.
Participate actively and professionally.
Follow institutional/legal requirements when implementing advice.
Communicate respectfully and professionally.
4. Booking, Payment, and Refunds
Advance Payment: Required for all services.
Non-Refundable: All purchases are final.
Rescheduling: Requires 24 hours’ notice (CST); missed or late sessions are forfeited.
Projects: May require a signed agreement with separate terms.
Memberships: Auto-renew. Failed payments suspend access after 7 days.
5. Session Access and Technology
Clients must ensure a stable internet connection and working device. Technical issues on the client’s end are not LectureThis’s responsibility.
6. Session Recording and Communication
Recordings: Require written consent from all parties.
Response Time: We aim to reply within 2 business days, when possible.
7. Intellectual Property
All original materials—including templates, guides, presentations, and strategy documents—are the intellectual property of LectureThis.
Clients may use these for personal or institutional purposes but may not resell, distribute, or modify them for commercial use without permission.
Some planning tools and templates may be freely reusable unless otherwise stated.
8. Privacy & Data
We collect only necessary information (name, email, billing details).
Data is stored securely and never sold.
Clients may request deletion of personal data, unless retention is required by law.
9. Testimonials & Case Studies
Clients may be invited to share testimonials or participate in anonymized case studies. Participation is optional and requires written consent.
10. Platform Disclaimer
LectureThis uses third-party platforms (e.g., Zoom, Stripe, Squarespace, Google Workspace). Their use is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
Important: LectureThis uses the free version of Canvas LMS (Free for Teacher) solely for demonstration purposes and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instructure, Inc.
11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Services are educational and advisory; outcomes are not guaranteed.
Clients use services at their own risk.
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.
LectureThis is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
12. Force Majeure
LectureThis is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, service outages, government restrictions).
13. Dispute Resolution
All disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in Oklahoma. Decisions are final and binding.
14. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients with active memberships will be notified of material changes at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of services after updates constitutes agreement.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Legal actions must be filed in Oklahoma.
